Ladies on 2+ - dilating/labor
OK, so I now know that we tend to dilate way before labor actually starts on subsequent pregnancies, but does anyone know (on average) around how many cm active labor tends to start? Has your dr. told you anything? I forgot to ask...
I went to the OB last night & I've progressed from 1-2cm last week to 2-3cm. I'm curious if this can keep slowly going on until I'm 7 or 8cm or if actual labor usually tends to start somewhere around say 5cm most of the time. I know everyone is different, so I just mean in general, I guess

With number two, my water broke and when I got to the hospital I was 4 cm. I wanted to see how far I could progress on my own. I got to 7 cm before the nurse started pushing pictocin on me.
