Cadaver dog.

In the last few days my sense of smell has sharpened immensely. I went to the grocery store earlier for the first time since last week and I swear I can smell the food inside the packages. I was trying not to gag.

Smells I once barely noticed are now gag inducing. I can no longer change the kitchen garbage bag. I have to leave the room if my dog farts, lol. I have to put my face in my shirt when DH walks in from smoking a cigarette and DD can't come near me if she cleaned her sticky hands with baby wipes.

I don't remember my olfactory glands being so heightened when I was pregnant with DD. This is just crazy.

Anyone else have a bionic nose?

me too!! When I finally come out at work next week I think it will make sense to all my co-workers since I've been questioning every smell in the office for weeks, every day I'm saying things like "do you smell fish?? who's eating fish???", it seems like everyone's lunch stinks all of a sudden! And my commute on the train, omg I have no idea how I haven't thrown up yet, this guy who smelled like he peed his pants as his day job came and stood RIGHT next to me last week I almost died, thank god he only stood there for one stop!! I feel like wearing a sign "Hi I am pregnant and if you know you stink please don't come near me or I will puke on you!!!"

Definitely. I feel like it was much worse during the first trimester though. I made DH change his shampoo and soap and get rid of our febreeze air freshner because the smells were too overbearing. One day I was in the living room while he was taking a shower, and I could smell that he used the "wrong" soap and I yelled through the door that he used the wrong one..lol DH loves comics and said I have wolverine sense right now

Yes, my sense of smell has heightened a lot!! I can't take so many smells now that wouldn't bother me usually. Also, I feel I've become smelly (or at least smellier and now noticeable) and sometimes I get so grossed out by my own smells! I am always gagging if I come across an offensive smell and am so worried I am going to have to run to the toilet!! I am always covering my nose with a smell-neutral sweatshirt sleeve or something else LOL.

YES!!! I feel like a dog, its crazy the things Im smelling.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one!!!!

Maybe we should have t-shirts made up to keep smelly people and their lunches away from us!
