I can't stop bragging about this
But I did a full pull up on my own today!!!!
I have been working on this forever. I saw a woman banging out pull ups at the gym at the end of last year, and asked her how she did it.
She said she just worked on it several times a week, until she did it. That's it.
So I made that my new years resolution - to work on it until I could do a full one on my own. Every week I would twitch, and move a tenth of an inch - but last week I really lifted myself. I didn't even think about it today - just reached up, and BAM - I was up. I actually managed a few more weak ones after it but I lost it because I was so excited about the first one.
So now.... My goal is doing 2 perfect ones in a row!!!

Yay!! I have NEVER been able to do one. I try and shake and grunt and then imagine that everyone is pointing and whispering at the pathetic girl who can't do a pull-up.
Good for you for even trying!!!! and double good for actually doing it!
