Plus size bridesmaid dresses?

Plus size bridesmaid dresses?
My friend is in a bridal party and was given a choice of 3 different gowns to try. She wants to check them out in person.
The problem is, she is plus-sized and says that many places she knows of don't carry the gowns in the higher sizes (figure like a 20)
First of all, I think this is horrible. I understand they can't accommodate everyone's size in every gown- but they should def have some in her size in similar styles to the ones he was told to try. Anyone know of a place where they have lots of diverse sizes? I'm meeting her in the city so a place around there would be preferable ... but she would travel to LI if there's a place around here you girls know of.

I've been in a few bridal parties over the last couple of years. I'm a "street size 18" so that means at least a 20 in bridesmaids dresses - the only place that I've actually been able to try on a dress in-store was at David's Bridal.

Maybe RK Bridal? Call ahead and ask, I could have sworn they have plus size.

Thanks! That's actually where she went for her wedding gown a few years ago. She said they have lots of sizes of bridal gowns, but not as great of a selection for bridesmaids (sizes).
