3rd trimester moms - anyone else nesting?
I totally missed out on this stage with my first because he came so early, but I seriously have been nesting for the past couple of weeks. I cannot see anything that needs to be washed without throwing it in the machines (and laundry is usually DH's job lol!). I haven't set up anything for the baby yet because I'm waiting a little longer, but it's so funny to be in this nesting phase!

I am!! But I'm on bedrest and we haven't even started the nursery yet so it just makes me anxious :(

I am only a second trimester mom but I am already nesting. I like to be prepared and it takes me awhile to get organized. We have a lot of home improvements and changes we need to make to be able to have the baby taken care of once it is born. I worry about any complications (like bed rest or general uncomfortableness) or early labor... and felt now was a good time to start so I can work into the third trimester. It is fun but overwhelming.

I'm 39 week tomorrow and I still haven't felt the urge. i wish i would so I could get some ish done!!!

Yes and my nesting has gotten expensive. Everything had to be painted, than I really wanted to get a new couch. Ive cleaning closets ad throwing away so much stuff. I've driving my dh insane.

Yes! But it is perfect because we are in the middle of moving, so I've been organizing, planning and thinking of decorating. I just can't wait to get all the baby furniture and shower gifts to really start setting up her room!

No nesting here just yet. I'm still in lazy phase! Maybe once the nursery's carpet finally is installed I'll feel that need to nest

I have nested as much as I possibly can...both at home to get the nursery done, clothes, blankies, bibs etc washed, car seat installed, swing, bouncer, pack n play set up, cleaning ppl to come do windows and scrubbing, hospital bag packed and in car, etc
AND
at work to get everything in place for my the person is covering my leave to step in...
that I am now exhausted and just ........... waiting
