Working through my "denial"!

Ok, so I am almost 36 weeks with DS. This has gone way too fast!!

I am so not ready for this kid to get here. By now for DD I had a closet and dresser drawers ready for her. Her room was ready and we had 2 names ready to go that we were going to decide when we saw her.

However for this kid, his room is in shambles. Before this weekend he had about 2 outfits. We can’t decide on a name to save our lives. Hell, I am not even convinced that he’s a boy! Chat Icon

But we are making progress! We put together the double stroller. We ordered a new monitor for his room. We got a second car seat base for DH’s car because DH didn’t have a truck with a back seat with DD. This weekend I went shopping for about 4-5 more outfits each in newborn and 0-3 months (just in case). And I have a growth sono on Thursday, hopefully I will get a better idea what size clothes we will need. Oh, and I will be asking for confirmation on boy parts!! That might help me (us) decide on a name. Chat Icon

Re: Working through my "denial"!

I am 35 weeks with #2 and I'm already three weeks past the point that I had given birth to my DS lol. I didn't get to plan and prepare much with him because he was so early so this time I've been trying to do stuff for the last couple of weeks. I have a bunch of clothes and already washed and separated a bunch. Been buying things here and there as I find good deals or sales. Still need to buy the double stroller and lots of smaller things from my list. I haven't set anything up yet though, feels weird to me to do it so early, but I'm thinking in the next 2-3 weeks or so I'd like to start putting clothes in the drawers and maybe set up some stuff like the swing, playpen, bouncer so that we have some stuff ready.

Re: Working through my "denial"!

33 weeks with number 2 and um...well I bought a few white onesies. lol. I also rearranged our bedroom furniture to accomodate the pnp or bassinet (which thrilled DH that I was moving furniture at 8 months preggo, yet he doesn't bat an eye at the 1000 other things I do each day lol). Oh and I had to buy DD diapers this weekend so I picked up a package of NB ones too.

Yup, that's it. Chat Icon
