scheduled C section
Did you get the Dr. you wanted? Do you just do what they say?
I'm kind of surprised (again) at the lack of information I'm getting from my practice about the actual birth.

I just scheduled mine, and my OB, not any of his partners, will be the one performing my c-section.

I got my dr, and the date I wanted, I got info from the hospital once my date was booked.

I only see one doctor...so he is the doctor that did my scheduled c-section. Not sure how it works if you go to a larger practice but if there is a particular doctor that you feel strongly about I would certainly speak up about it!

I'm going for a VBAC but I already got my c-section date in case baby doesn't come on her own by that point.
My doctor is scheduled to do it. She only schedules c-sections on one day a week so that's the date I was given. If I need a c-section for any reason on any other day, whichever doctor is on call from my practice will perform it.
That's what happened with my DS. I needed an emergency c/s and one of the other doctors performed it because she was on call at the hospital that day.
