Diaper Bag Spinoff #2
Did you get your DH a separate bag? DH will have one of the diaper dude bags so he's not carrying around my tote when he takes the baby out or drops him or her off at my parents or in-laws....

I did but he never used it I just found it and it still had a preemie diaper and outfit of my daughters in it. My daughter is 2 and we have a 4mon ds.
He just carries mine and never minds. It was a pain to have 2 sperate stocked diaper bags and we wasted a lot. His only request is it is a messanger style and other then that he could care less. IMHO it's a waste to have 2 working diaper bags.

I got a bag that both of us can use. I didn't want to worry about havign 2 bags stocked.
I'm not a girly bag type person so we just got a messenger type bag from Diaper Dude

I only ever used my diaper bag for the first few months of DD's life. It just sits in the trunk of the car now. I had gotten one for DH on CL for $8 (an eddie bauer one) but we just use that one for some extra items when we're traveling to the ILs or something. What I use more than anything is my diaper clutch (I got a PPB one from the outlet sale last year). It just holds a wipes pack, about 5 diapers, lotion/sanitizer, and has a fabulous changing pad included (it snaps out or stays attached to the bag). DH takes that with him if he ever takes DD out alone and I bring it with us when we go to the mall and stuff.
I use smaller bags now for mealtime essentials when we're out. But the diaper bag itself I just used at the beginning. I did love it, though (I have a vera bradley one) and probably will pull it out of the car and start using it again with #2, at least for a little while. Or I might get a new VB one to match the new VB purse I got.
I definitely won't get DH another lol.

DH ordered his own separate one. The one I already have is coral and DH would never carry that. He just ordered a cheap one which is actually just a shoulder/messenger type bag but it's the perfect size and has a few compartments so it should work great.
