Your dining room table...

does it have legs or a pedestal/s?

The set I'm thinking of ordering comes with legs although I think you can get it with pedestals...for a higher cost, of course. I'm wondering if it's worth the cost...

We have a pedestal. We have a small dining room and a large family. Having the pedistal makes it easier to fit a few extra people around the corners when needed.

We have legs, no issues for us but if you have a choice - def get the pedestal!

Re: Your dining room table...

we have a long table so it has 2 pedestals, but like a previous poster said, it definitely helps fit in a few extra people when we need to.

Legs.
My DR table belonged to my parents. A family friend made it for them almost 50 years ago.
Without the leaves it is round and with all 3 leaves it extends to 108 inch oval.
I've had 12 people around that table.

Legs. We didn't have the option for a pedestal.
