Had My First Appointment Today (and it wasn't at the ER, lol)
Dr said baby looks great and is measuring perfectly at 7w6d!!!!
He also put me on pelvic rest for the rest of this trimester. He thinks all my spotting was from a little too much
Oooops
I have another appointment for 3 weeks from now to go over bloodwork to see if my Synthroid needs to be tweaked.
And I have an appointment at the end of April for a sonogram to check for Downs. They didn't have this when I had DD. Has anyone had this done? How is it different from a level II?

glad your appointment went so well!!! and at least your spotting was for a good reason, I don't think we've since conceiving so what's my excuse?

nope! After the scare last week I wanted to get in with the new doc sooner than later to make sure I was in good hands, so they cancelled me for today and fit me in this past Monday 3/26 And I loved the new doc so I'm glad I switched!!

Excellent!!
I'm happy you're comfortable with the new Dr. It's so important. I told my OB/GYN that if he ever retires I'm getting rid of my uterus

Glad everything went well !!! That's funny what your doc said about too much . I'm totally jealous, I don't even remember the last time DH and I had sex

Glad to hear everything went well! I've been too nervous to BD much... not until after my next appointment and I know everything is going well.
The sono to check for downsyndrome odds is the NT ultrasound where they measure the fluid in the back. It's usually done around 12 weeks and they also do a blood test to figure out the risk/odds. I have that on Monday (I'll be 12 w 2 d). The Level II is usually done at closer to 20 weeks and measures other things. HTH!
