WWYD - Doc cancelling appointment
Hey Ladies,
My doctors office just called to cancel my Appointment this week and i cant get another for until next Wednesday which will be 6 days from my due date. Would you worry about it or insist on being seen before then??
I feel fine and everything has been perfect all along but not sure if i should still make a deal over this? Also i was looking forward to seeing if there was any movement on Labor!!
WWYD.
TIA

Re: WWYD - Doc cancelling appointment
I would definitely be annoyed since I look forward to each appointment. It seems like they should be able to squeeze you in somewhere but maybe they had a lot of people to reschedule.
As for checking your progress, my dr. doesn't do any internals until 39 weeks anyway. Having progress doesn't mean labor will start soon, so the dr. doesn't see the point. As long as you're feeling good, I would probably let it go, although impatiently!

Yes thats how i feel. Irritated but thankfully everything is fine so the ladies with problems would be a priority.
He started the internals last week and no progress it is more curiosity than anything. LOL
But i should have asked her what happens if i go into Labor. Even though i don't think it will happen!! But by the sounds of it my Doc wont be around till next Thursday.

I wouldnt make a big deal about it....you can have no dilation and go tomorrow or some and still take weeks. I would only push if your high risk.

I agree.
This is my 3rd kid, so I'm kind of over the appointments. I was starting to feel like they were pointless since I have no concerns or issues. I would just wait til next week.
