Anyone have a Cat in the Hat OR Firetruck party?
I'm trying to decide between two themes for DS' 3rd bday party. He loves Cat in the Hat and firetrucks. I seem to see a lot of cat in the hat stuff online, but not so much for the firetruck theme.
Has anyone had a party with either of these themes? I'd love to see pictures or ideas.

Wow.. That post was from 2012
I did fire trucks for my sons first birthday. I got most of his party supplies at Party City...

Ditto! Also check etsy & pinterest, there's lots of cute things online.

I had a Dr. Seuss birthday party. I hired a party planner but I know she got a bunch of stuff from Michael's. she was creative and made some banners with stuff she printed out. she pasted dr seuss hats on red popcorn bags (huge hit with the kids). she also put different colored goldfish crackers and Swedish fish in little plastic shot glasses and decorated the glasses with mini dr seuss stickers. we had huge twirl lollipops, thing one and thing 2 red velvet cupcakes with blue hair icing and a two tiered one fish two fish birthday cake. she added a lot of fillers to make the table look like the truffula trees from the lorax. we gave sand buckets with bubble guns and sand toys. she designed a big thank you and stuck in a swirly straw. the party was a big hit.
