How many should you have on hand? And which ones do you like?

I used the Miracle Blanket for both my kids. I had 2, and that's enough.

I had a four pack of Aden & Anais swaddler blankets and they were so incredibly useful for everything, from swaddling to using as a roll around DD's head when she was tiny in the infant car seat. I LOVE those things and give them as gifts all the time now!!

This was a lifesaver. I tried tons and loved the miracle blanket. I had 2, and it was enough - but 3 would have let laundry stretch longer.

We had two swaddle me's and I tried them with her and she doesn't like them at all. She much prefers being swaddled in a regular blanket. I am using cotton carter's blankets ... but have heard great things about the Aden and Anais (sp?) blankets.

i loved the carters swaddling blankets, they seemed to stay tucked in perfectly, whereas other blankets were too soft and came undone
if you want ones that are made specifically for swaddling, i loved the Halo swaddlers, they come with velcro tabs, or zippers.
