Groin pain
Does anyone else in the third trimester have groin pain? It's not sciatica b/c it doesn't radiate and there is no numbness - it feels like I was punched in the very upper inner area of my left leg, where it meets my body. I was limping the other day but it seems a little better now. I had a routine dr appt the other day and mentioned it and the dr didnt check it out at all and said pain in that area is normal...He just did a 2 second Doppler and that was it.. Anyone else have this???

Re: Groin pain
Yep- I have it. Mine started in the 2nd tri and sometimes it's so bad that I can hardly walk. Whenever I mention it to the doc or the nurses, they say it's normal.

Re: Groin pain
Oh yea! It started for me late in the 2nd trimester and occasionally happens now. I'm currently 37 week and 4 days...

Re: Groin pain
I have it too for the last few weeks. I am almost 27 weeks.
I had it with my first DD too, but I feel like it started later.....
Definitely hurts, but it is totally normal. Hang in there and rest with your feet up when you can.

Re: Groin pain
I have it now too, started around 20 weeks. I was told its from relaxin? a hormone your body releases to prepare for delivering baby. So all your joints loosen up. Sometimes I feel like my leg comes out of my hip and when I step on it I am frozen in pain. I started wearing a maternity belt to "hold things together" it definately helps A LOT but its so uncomfortable to sit in. I have to look for another one.
