Tums-resistant heartburn!!!

I remember this happening with my first pregnancy at this stage too! Any time i lay down to sleep the heartburn gets so bad and (sorry tmi) vomit comes up my throat and BURNS. So painful. I've been up for hours. It feels like what I've heard GERD is. God I feel bad for babies with reflux if this is how they feel!

Anyone experience this or have any advice ? Tums are doing nothing. Can we take Pepcid? Oh this is so painful. Chat Icon

I found propping myself up a bit more works best..as much as it stinks. Feel better!

I use pepcid complete and tums. Definitely stay propped up as much as you can too, it helps the acid from making its way all the way up.Chat Icon

Re: Tums-resistant heartburn!!!

I lived on Zantac 75 the first half of my last pregnancy. It helped tremendously. Everything, including water, gave me heartburn.
