is this a good price for cleaning?

was quoted for a deeeep one time clean 25hr so for my place around 100 dollars.
since i dont need her regularly she said if she came 2 or 3 weeks later it would be 75 or 80 dollars.

is the 75 or 80 that i wonder about? is that alot ?
i was hoping for 50 for every other week but i dont know if i am asking too much lol

thoughts?
i did book the cleaning person for the deep clean session...but before i counter her second time offer i wanted to know your thoughts. tia!

I used to have a regular cleaning person who charged me $75 every two weeks for 3 bedrooms/2 baths. He was there for 6-7 hours each time. His first visit was $20/hr.

The rates you were given seem reasonable to me.

we have 2 bedrooms but new baby room doesnt need cleaning(except hardwood floor).
so really one bedroom 2 full baths kitchen living room and hardwood floors. still sound good? tia

I don't know now...I technically have a 5 bedroom house but only needed 2 bedrooms cleaned...paid $80 to clean 2 bedrooms, vacuum carpet in bedrooms and rugs in living room/dining room, 2 full baths, wash kitchen floors and foyer floors, clean hardwood floors, clean inside windows and dust.

I personally think that's too much for what shes cleaning...you should be paying about $65 tops.

Too much for that little space... I know someone who pays 85 every 2 weeks for 3bd, 2.5bath, den, LR, kitchen, DR... And they really go through the place... dusting everything... cleaning sliding doors, cabinets, etc... I believe she uses Merry Maids

When i had co-op (1bd, 1 bth, LR, DR, Kitchen) i paid $60

Now, in the house (3 bds (2 not really used), 2 baths, LR, DR, Kitchen, entry area, laundry/office and basement) is $90. She wanted $100, but since its just us and no kids she knew we were neat and clean and barely home cause of work.

Wait why is she charging you $100 once a month? If she does the deep cleaning the first week then every other week should be regular cleaning.

We have a cleaning lady and we give her $80 a week - She will do laundry. She washes our sheets and puts them back on. She washes our bathroom rugs and some towels. She would do more if we left it out but would prefer to do it ourselves. She folds all of our laundry, cleans out the frig, cleans every room in our house except for one because it is for storage now, cleans the floors, stainless appliances, windows, etc. She is very detailed and does a great job. Danielles mom and her sister ues her too. Also she is trust worthy. I have left her in my house a lone and feel 100% comfortable.

yeah it doesnt make sense at all imo.
i wish i knew someone else in the area that does house cleaning besides big companies. she will come next week for the deep clean and maybe she will come down in price for the every two weeks if not ..onto more searching lol

I don't think it's out of line. And I do understand why she would charge more for once a month cleaning, the house will need more cleaning as it will be dirtier than it would be if she came every two weeks.

1 deep cleaning first time: $150
Every week: $75
If come every other week: $80

seems reasonable. You're going to have a hard time finding someone for $50 in my opinion.

My person was charging $100 for 1 visit per month but then said can she come every other week and she will do it for $60/visit (she got other clients in my neighborhood). I thought that was a steal

I don't think you will find someone for 50 though. Maybe she can come down on the every other week price? I don't think 80 is terrible but I don't think it is incredible either

i agree 50 is prob too little.. i wish i could do 60 every two weeks but no laundry windows or anything like that.
