I was told by my OB that I can eat it once a week. With my DD I definitely had it once a week, with this pregnancy I haven't been in the mood.

oh my god me too. I have been craving for a week now.
I've only eaten tuna maybe 3 times the entire pregnancy. Plan on having one from my favorite place on Friday...I am counting the days!!!

I've had it on occasion. I buy chunk light, as that has the lowest mercury. Most things that I've read say that it's okay in moderation.

I think 12 oz a week is ok or 2 6 oz servings. I researched when I was afraid of shrimp (which turns out to be ok).

you're allowed in moderation and as previous posters said, chunk light in a can not the albacore.
I actually craved tuna sandwiches bad for a while and it was really tough to just limit myself to one a week. I think maybe once I might have had it twice a week.
I have it on occasion now but don't crave it anymore.
Have one and savor it!

No not off limits... "They" say you can have 1 6oz can a week I believe... It doesnt have a high amount of mercury anyway

My dr said 1x a month is ok. Now that you mention it I will prob have it today  w/American cheese!!!!!!!
BTW...I had it on the 17th and 1 other time this month. I'm not worried about it at all.

Now I want tuna sandwich and I never want tuna sandwich . And of course we don't have any tuna in the house, great 
anyway, yes you can have tuna, but no more than 1x a week I was told. So go get yourself a tuna sandwich and enjoy!

There was a point in my pregnancy I was having a tuna sandwhich once a week...there is nothing wrong with that as long as its in moderation. Once in a while wont do any harm. Enjoy

To answer the OP question, I eat tuna about twice a month, my ob said that was fine as long as it was chunk light.
