Dr. Kofinas
I have to see Dr. Kofinas during my pregnancy, and was just wondering if anyone could share some light on your experiences with him?

My best friend went to him and all she does is rave about him. She had an extremely high risk pregnancy and he was absolutely wonderful every step of the way. He is very knowledgable and caring and she never felt rushed at her appointments. He delivered her twins last month and did a great job with her C-section.

He is amazing! Dr Kofinas and Dr Nguyen (the only other dr in his practice) saved my twins' lives at 24 1/2 weeks pregnant. They are both very straight and to the point about everything. Dr K first came off a little mean when i saw him at my first visit, but my RE trusted him so i trusted him and i am glad i did. When i got pregnant on my own this time, i called his office and saw him before i even called my regualr OB. As far as i knew though, he doesn't deliver. He has an office in Garden city, but he is affiliated with NY methodist hospital in Brooklyn.

We saw him throughout my pregnancy. He is AWESOME! Our daughter is perfect...she is 12 weeks old. She had the best care in utero thanks to him. You will get exceptional care. Best of luck!

LOVE him! I am 39 weeks..and just "graduated" from his office. I am being induced this week. He is amazying as is Dr. Nguyen. I have been seeing them my entire pregnancy and felt very well taken care of. The beginning was a bit overwhelming but there was never a day that I did not feel like I was in great hands. I was seen at the Brooklyn location and the staff was amazing. I only wished he would deliver my baby!

do you mean kofinas the ob? or kofinas the perinatologist?
they are related but different docs.
i see the perinatologist in garden city with nygen..any qs let me know xo

I really like him and his office a lot. At first I was intimidated by him... but then I went to him before my last transfer with my lining issues and he saw how nervous I was and gave me a hug. I saw he had a softer side and from then on, I was sold.
You'll be in great hands!! The nurses are sweet as well, I really like Christine.
