HELP! MY STRAIGHTNER STOPPED WORKING
I am so upset. It used to take so long to blow dry my hair in the morning. Then I got a flat iron and it was a godsend. It was quick, and easy and I got so many compliments. I was in heaven. Well that was two weeks ago. Now, the straightner is not straightening the hair in fact it is making it worse. It's making it wavy and feathery. What am I doing wrong? Is it because my hair is changing due to pregnancy? Whatever it is it is causing me to have meltdowns in the morning. My hair looks terrible again. Please help. I did buy a cheaper flat iron. If that is the reason that is ridiculous that it would stop working after only 2 weeks.

wht do you mean by feathery? like the ends are thin? if thats the case you may be burning your hair off little by little

Did you change shampoos? conditioners? it could be from the oils in prenatals??

Is the straightener still getting hot like it did two weeks ago? If not, I would return it and get a new one.

I bought a Revlon Perfect Heat and it was about a month ago. I have a spray I bought from Sally's that I put on before I use the hot iron. I have been using it from the beginning so that hasn't changed. The shampoo is the same. I know it was humid this week but it's not exactly Florida weather.

I would try to return the straightener if you can, should not have stopped working. Also invest in a good one like the Chi at Ulta, mine have lasted years
