Failed the 3 hr test-I have GD
I am soooooo bummed and feel soooooo defeated. I thought I'd walk in to the office and they'd say- wow, you did great-you passed. Instead, doc told me I had diabetes

I'm sorry Stacey... the diet was not fun, but, in retrospect being forced to eat healty was probably the best thing for me! Good luck and FM me if you have any q's.

I have it too and I was really bummed ... But, with the diet I ended up losing 10 pounds!!! I am even going to follow it after I have the baby... It's really just all about healthy eating and you get used to it after a while....Good Luck!

welcome to the club
the diet isn't too bad to follow - it can be challenging at times but in the end just remember that there are a lot worse things then having to watch what you eat
If you have any questions feel free to ask! The GD girls on this board are pretty awesome

Yes, I totally agree with this. Although it sucks major to have GD I have to say that it has really made me watch what I eat and now I am eating so much healthier and in turn I feel like Im doing so much better for my baby. Dont stress it, its really not as bad as it seems. You will get use to it
