Re: ikea bedroom
I didn't have that particular one but DH and I did have an Ikea bed for 5 years. They aren't too bad but I despise the slats that you have to put the mattress on. One night, in the middle of the night while we were fast asleep, the slats FELL! Some piece that the slats were laying on broke away from the bed and just from DH rolling over it practically collapsed! We ended up on the couch for a few nights until DH was able to do a bit of construction on the bed. After that, I couldn't wait to get rid of it. It did last us 4 years without incident before that though.
No issues with dressers or nightstands.

Re: ikea bedroom
We have the long dresser. The bottoms fell out a drove me crazy. Against my better judgment (plus I couldn't find anything I liked and needed a dresser) we bought the same as a temporary solution (since it's affordable ). We can see the difference in how the bottoms are put together. It's only been a year, but its working out better than the first.
I bought my kids the 3 drawerrequirements: ones and they are roomy for them.

Re: ikea bedroom
We have an ikea bedroom set-Malm I think it is called. We have the bed, headboard and two dressers. We have had them for two years with no complaints. My only issue is that the mattress hasn't lasted like I wanted, but the guy at ikea told us to bring it in an exchange it since its still under warranty.
It is nice looking stuff, and affordable. We are big ikea fans, actually. Just make sure to glue all of the parts together as you assemble them. We did this and the stuff is way sturdier then if we had just followed the instructions.

Re: ikea bedroom
We have the hemnes furniture and love it! We have the dresser, chest and two nightstands (none of the bedding). We had issues with a turn in our stairs and had to refuse delivery on two other bedroom sets! Our only option at this point was Ikea and we are very happy.
In our previous apartment, we had a hemnes dresser as well and it is now in DS's room. It has held up well and no complaints.
I will try and take a pic for you later.
