International flight travel
I know you can't bring outside water or soda on bored but can you bring food like sandwiches from home?

Re: International flight travel
You can bring food as long as it is solid. I brought a small container of peanut butter once and they confiscated it- the officer who took it said it was a gel and there was more than 3 ounces. It really p!ssed me off. Depending on the airline some times the food is actually good DH loves to fly Swiss because the food is usually really good and they always give you chocolate.

Depends where you are going, but it's a good idea to make sure the food is gone when you go through customs. Europe is pretty relaxed about customs, but in places like Australia it will be taken away and a fine will be given if you don't say you have food.

Re: International flight travel
It shouldn't be an issue. You can buy pretty much anything past security and bring it on the plane....at least on this side of travel. Coming back depending on the airport you may have a problem.

I bought food in the airport on a flight to Barcelona & ate it before we got there. But like MrsG823 said, there is usually food on international flights.

Do you watch Nothing to Decalre? That show scares the crap out of me.
You can't bring drinks, but I have had no problems bringing food through. I usually bring a picnic lunch for my kids and buy drinks when we get through the security check points.

No, I haven't seen that. I've seen it live at Sydney airport though .
