Sharp pain on right side
Any thoughts on what this might be?
I have a sharp pain on my right side that has been coming & going for about 2 hours now. When it comes it takes my breath away. It's below my rib cage & on the side slightly towards the back. If I put my hands on my hips it's right below where my thumb sits. I don't want to bug my dr. for a random pain, but ugh! It hurts

I would call the dr. could be your gall bladder or some BP issues .

Is it like a crampy pain? This is the beginning of Braxton Hicks...up until you deliver...

Thanks for your reply. I have gallstones, but haven't had an attack in something like 10 months so that didn't even occur to me I'm going to give it a little more time & if it doesn't get better I'll call my doc...

I've been getting what I think are BH for a while now (a crampy tightening across the entire top of of my stomach), but this is different. It's turned into a sharp stabbing pain, but it's quick...lasts maybe 15-20 secs & then goes away. It's getting more frequent & pronounced now...I'm having a hard time doing any work

crashing...does it hurt when you pee? I had pains during my last pregnancy in the right side and it turned out to be a kidney infection. Definitely call the doctor, good luck
