Our Appointment with RSofNY Was Today
I was shocked at how prompt everyone was. That was a plus. Dr Saketos was very, very nice and very helpful. She was even kind enough to lend us a book. I was just SO overwhelmed with all the information she gave me, I couldn't even think of any questions for her, and now I have a million!
I found out today my insurance covers all the testing but none of the IF treatment. I don't even know what to say to that.
The only thing I remember is "call us when you get your period, and come in on day 3".
Our first cycle will be non-monitored, with OPKs. What the heck does that mean? Which OPK test is most idiot proof? (We used them once when we were winging it, but it didn't work). Then once I'm ovulating they're going to do an IUI. If the first one fails then we're going to do a monitored cycle with Clomid.
I'm so excited yet so confused. DH has been a HUGE support, and I can't even keep my thoughts straight or concentrate on anything else.

ITA with the Digital ClearBlue Easy. It's either smiling, or it isn't.

They left a message on my VM that I already ovulated for this month, so I think we're jumping right into the monitored non-medicated cycle for April.
Thanks for the suggestions I will pick up the CBE .
