$ in savings after house purchase
I think i'm starting to freak out about $. DH and I crunched the #'s a million times and it works, but now I'm afraid that we won't have enough left in savings.
After your downpayment, closing costs, and any immediate repairs that HAD to be done, approx. how much did you have left in savings?
I don't expect anyone to answer so I added a poll.

we somehow had a LOT more than we thought we would, bc we thought we would have almost nothing..money somehow kept coming in lol

Nothing! We had to get a new roof, new electrical panel and a new oil tank.
