Meeting with Realtor tonight
We are meeting with the realtor tonight to get the house on the market 
Any thoughts or things I should remember to ask/tell?

We are currently selling and I am sure you know the main points to ask now.
What is their commission?
What % do they offer to a buyer's agent?
You should think about who will have the keys to your home (just you, the listing agent etc)
They will probably want to do an Broker OH shortly after you list and then a public OH after that.
I am sure they will bring you comps for the area etc to see where to price your house.
ETA: YES< what Christine said, the feedback was always important to me. Our first agent NEVER gave us any feedback, he would say until you have an offer you really wont hear...which didnt sit well with me. Our current agent gives us as much feedback as she knows.

I would ask/find out:
1. What exactly the realtor is going to do to market your home? Try to get it in writing, so you have something to refer back to if things don't go as planned or the realtor doesn't do as promised once you sign.
2. Talk about communication and set expectations -- How often will the realtor be in touch with you? Will he/she give feedback after every showing (and seek feedback from other agents who show the house)? Do you want him/her to, or would you prefer to have a weekly conversation, or every other week? Email or phone?
3. Find out about the realtor's typical involvement in the whole process. How will offers be handled? Will your realtor be there for the inspection, the appraisal, the final walk through, at closing? You want someone who will be guiding you through the whole sale and representing your interests throughout the process (not just taking the listing and washing her hands of it once an offer comes in).

Good!! We did all the ppw last night since DH was home to sign and she will come during the day on Friday to take the pictures (in daylight).
I am really hoping that the work we have done on the house really pays off. Everytime we replaced or renovated, we would get the good stuff (Hunter fans, thermopane windows, Anderson flooring, etc) so I hope it's noticed.
I will post the link when I get it tomorrow
