I am renting the top floor of a house. It's just me and my son and our crazy dog. I have an area of yard that is about 15 feet x 10 feet. There is a small patio in the center with my table/chairs. There are some gardens that I planted last summer that are nice too. Problem is, I have NO grass. I've tried to lay down seed and get it to grow, but my dog rips it up so it'll never work. My landlady suggested that we put down mulch in that area. I was thinking the rubber/recycled mulch b/c it'll be cleaner and lasts longer. But, I'm not sure how it would look. WDYT? Anyone have pictures of something like this?
