Plus-sized clothing question
I want to get my Mom a gift card for clothes for birthday. She is plus-sized and said she shops at stores like Dress Barn, Lane Bryant, ect. What store should I get it from? What other affordable stores with sizes for fuller figures would she want a GC to? She likes casual, affordable clothing. TIA!

Re: Plus-sized clothing question
What about getting her a visa/master card gift card this way she can use it at any of the stores she likes.

Re: Plus-sized clothing question
Of the plus sized stores, I think Dress Barn would be more her speed. Lane Bryant and Avenue also. Sears has a good plus section as well.

Re: Plus-sized clothing question
depends how much you want to spend. lb is a little more pricey but with coupons very reasonable.

Lands End also has a nice plus size selection.

Re: Plus-sized clothing question
Honestly I would to a visa gc like someone said or get her a card to where she shops. Being Plus Sized myself there are lots of stores that sell bigger sizes, but few that fit well. Once you find a good store you don't tend to sway often.

I agree with this.
My mom is plus-sized and has complained about the prices going up and quality going down at a lot of the stores like Lane Bryant.
If you get a giftcard, she can hit up several stores.

Re: Plus-sized clothing question
Thanks for the suggestions! Visa card is out though since she has never used a credit card before and is afraid of them even if its a GC. I looked in Dress Barn today and wasnt impressed with their selection.
