Teens with a baby? .. Or.. not.
I was out for dinner earlier when these teens walked in with a baby carrier.
They seemed to not really know what they were doing, I figured it was their first time out with the baby. They also had a blanket draped over the carrier before they sat down, and I also didn't look to carefully because I didn't wanna look like I was starring...
Of course I get a few "why them.." moments .. since as we all know, *I* would love to be the one holding the baby carrier..
Then the carrier gets haphazardly dropped into the seat.... and the teens start laugh.. and that's when one goes, "At least it isn't real!"  It was a FAKE baby!!  They were either doing an assignment for school ... or they belong on that doll obsession show I just posted!!
... At least I didn't have to spend the rest of dinner staring and feeling sorry for myself!!

so did I, and it was EMBARRASSING! I remember an older woman came up to me and wanted to see my "baby". When she realized it was a doll, she told me I had issues and walked away

I had a fake baby in HS too and a woman looked at me and rolled her eyes!
I wish I could go back in time and be like.. no lady.. I'm NOT a 15yr old with a baby .. in fact.. .in about 12yrs from now, I won't be a mother then either!!

Awww Gina!!!
For what it's worth ..... This is what I did for MY fake baby..
All we were really required to do was carry around a bag of flour. How LAME is that?!
So... I bought a doll that was made of cloth, performed from back surgery on her, ripped out the stuffing, put in the bag of flour, and stitched her up  I don't think I got extra credit for that  but it sure beat walking around with a bag of flour with a smily face!!!
Even at 15 I was desperate.  (or maybe just BEYOND weird.. )
