Repost ... Bridal Dress Shopping
My SIL is getting married next year and we're looking to start dress shopping next month.
I'm in NJ, but she lives on LI. I'm going to go there one weekend so we can start shopping with her at a few places.
WHere's a great Bridal Dress shop on LI?
Do we need to book an appt?
If so do you have any sales person you'd recommend too?
I got my dress at Kleinfelds and my mom, SIL and MIL came along too. We had a great time, but I think my SIL is looking to try local since we had the Kleinfelds experience. She may go too, but we figured we'd start on LI.

She's on LIW so I'm sure she's getting some recommendations there as well

I went to Lilette's in Bellmore - worked with Gerri! I loved their selection and Gerri was a doll!
They are appointment only.

I got mine at Bridal Reflections but have heard good things about Fantasia (all the way in Rocky Point though)

Thank you for posting because I am in the same situation, my future SIL wants to take my mom and I shopping with her for her dress (her mom passed away a few years ago) and she isn't too familiar with the whole bridal scene so open to suggestions for Bridal and Bridesmaid dresses Please!

I also went to bridal reflections. Bought the dress in Massapequa, but did alterations in Carle Place. I liked the staff at Mass. better, but the dress selection at CP was nicer.
