Diapers
How do I know what diapers I should/need to buy beforehand? We have some coupons we need to use in the next two months but we are clueless as to what we should stock up on.

Re: Diapers
I just stocked up on size 1's and 2's. My babies tend to be on the larger size (8lbs +), so I don't really need newborn diapers. And the hospital will send you home with a bunch anyway.

Re: Diapers
we had 1 box of newborn diapers on hand and about 2 boxes of size 1. Once we were done with the newborns we started with size 1. DS was 8lbs 8oz when he was born.

Re: Diapers
My DD was 9lbs 10oz when she was born and we had one small pack of newborn diapers. We ended up switching to size 1s before even finishing the pack because she was a big baby.
This time someone bought me a case of newborn diapers and we may have extras, although the baby isn't going to be as big either so who knows.
Honestly I wouldn't stock up too much on diapers. You never know how quickly your baby is going to go through sizes, and some babies do better with pampers, huggies, etc. I know we used Pampers in the beginning and then at around 3m switched to Huggies because they just worked better for DD.
So you may want to stock up on gift cards to Target/BRU/Walmart where you can buy diapers instead --- instead of buying many of specific sizes! There will always be coupons!
