Help? Cabinet door fronts for fridge....
So we purchased our new fridge/freezer - it was on clearance because it's an older model (Kenmore). I can't seem to locate accessories for it - probably because it's an older model .
Anyone have suggestions on where I can buy the trim kit/frame that would be used to install custom cabinet (built-in look) doors to them?
I feel like I've searched every which way, but can't seem to find anything promising...
TIA

Re: Help? Cabinet door fronts for fridge....
From researching when we were looking for appliances, you need to buy a "ready panel" fridge and then buy the panels from your cabinet company and put them in. I also think there is a trim kit for it.
I know when we were looking at kitchen aid dishwashers, we kept going back and forth on a ready panel as opposed to SS. The ready panel was just as much as the SS and then I still needed to buy the cabinet panel and hardware for it. It wound up being close to $2000 for a dishwasher. We went with the SS way.
So if it is white/black/SS I think you are stuck with it.
If you want a built in look, it should be counter depth (the depth of the cabinet plus around 3 inches from the frame to the door handles) and the panel around it you get from the cabinet company not the appliance company.
Here is a picture of a built in fridge. That is a counter depth fridge and then the panels around it is the cabinetry.
This is a ready panel fridge where the fridge blends in with the cabinetry.
