What classes did you take/are you taking?

I just spoke to someone at South Nassau regarding the hospital tour and classes. There are so many things that I want to take, but I'm trying to figure out what's most important. We are definitely going to go on the hospital tour and take the all day childbirth class on a Saturday. The other classes that I want to take are:

1) Baby Care
2) Preparation for Breastfeeding
3) Infant CPR

Did anyone take any of these classes at South Nassau and find them helpful or a waste of time? For the BTDT moms, what classes do you think are most important? My OB said that I didn't really need to worry about the BF class b/c the nurses and lactation consultants are awesome and will help me, but I'm nervous b/c so many people I know had bad experiences trying to BF.

I'm at a different hospital that you but I would recommend waiting until after the all day childbirth class to see what they cover. I was going to take a baby care class but they ended up covering a bit of that in the childbirth class so I didn't feel the need. They also covered some BF stuff. I'm still going to take the BF class because my OB highly recommended I take it now before the baby is born.

i just took the 2 hour baby care class...adn the woman was nice..but didnt learn a thing lol

i am going to take the childbirth class this upcoming sunday!

Me and dh only took the bf class and felt it was very helpful.
