The cost of Beaches Turks and Caicos???
Ok, this is definitely the top place I really want to go and I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to go there. It would probably be an awesome and dream vacation to say the least. But, unless we had thousands of "extra" money besides going on this trip, I just couldn't justify spending $7K-$10K on just a vacation? Am I the only one? I honestly have no idea how anyone can afford it? Maybe it would just cost this much for us since we're a family of 5 now, but between the resort and airfare it's ridiculous. Why can't it be more affordable/realistic? I'm sooooo jealous! I keep going on the website hoping for a miracle that the prices would just magically change!

Re: The cost of Beaches Turks and Caicos???
ITA...we are planning a summer vacation now and that's the first place I thought of, and Beaches Negril...gorgeous! But, to spend 2k on a 2 year old...I can't justify that! Idk where they get off charging that for kids! We will eventually go..but I'd rather wait when my daughter is old enough to appreciate and eat my 2k worth LOL

Re: The cost of Beaches Turks and Caicos???
It is very expensive! I have family that have gone there and they said that their TA booked them as single parents during Single parents month or week. I 'think' it is in Oct/Nov. So the 2 kids/2 adults wound up with adjoining rooms where the parents had their own and the kids shared, and they got it for cheaper than any other time during the year.

If you want an all inclusive family vacation, but can't afford Turks or beaches, maybe check into Dreams Resorts and Now Resorts. Also Iberostar resorts are supposed to be nice. Beaches has resorts in Jamaica. I don't know if they would be cheaper or not.

Re: The cost of Beaches Turks and Caicos???
I'm not going to help the matter but I will never forget my trip to Beaches T&C. It's worth saving all year to go there. I have not seen other similar resorts and after going there I am not even sure if I am interested in Beaches' other locations. I found it to be more money per person for a smaller family. It still adds up when there is a big group & I understand about the airfaire for a big group. As a family of 3, our room choices are limited unless we basically want to cover the cost of an extra person, so either way it can be difficult but oh, so much fun!!!!!!!

Re: The cost of Beaches Turks and Caicos???
I actually had my TA quote me recently for this resort for a Thursday-Monday vacation and it was about $3200. It was for travel in May, including airfaire.

Re: The cost of Beaches Turks and Caicos???
We went in December 2010 and stayed in a family suite in the Italian Village for 5 nights . With airfare for 4 people it was $12k. My mom came with us. She paid her own way and gave us $1500 for xmas that we put towards the trip. It was a great vacation and I would definitely put it on your wish list.

Re: The cost of Beaches Turks and Caicos???
How long are you planning on staying? If you are staying a whole week $7k for a family of 5 isn't bad. Do kids normally get a reduced rate at all inclusives?
DH and I have only been to 2 all inclusives and while they were cheaper, they were in DR. IMO Turks and Caicos is nicer than DR and as a result, more expensive.

That's actually not bad at all. Is that for a child to fly in their own seat, though? I've never priced it for May.
