pottery barn internet-only furniture

Has anyone bought furniture from pottery barn that is online only? There is a cabinet we love (http://www.potterybarn.com/products/garrett-glass-cabinet/ in espresso) that we want to use as a china cabinet but it isn't available in stores so we can't see it in person before purchasing.

My concern is that with some MDF it might not be as good quality as the price would otherwise suggest.

I am in the furniture industry and MDF is not wood its like cardboard, glue and wood dust all clumped together, it is AWFUL do not buy anything made from MDF especially a pice of this size and price, there are much better items out there made from real wood.

If it's MDF and not solid wood I'd be leery of buying without seeing it

Re: pottery barn internet-only furniture

Ive always heard good things until I recently visited a furniture store and was told otherwise. (I was telling them how I loved a PB leather sectional.) They could have just been trying to get my $ but they did tell me to look into it before I bought it.

If you are looking for a negative perspective you can read this website but I warn you there are a ton of complaints and like I said, Ive always just heard good things.
