Retrieval tomorrow w/ques

How long does the retrieval typically take? Anything I shold know in advance to prepare?

Im kind of nervous about being put under even though they said its a "twilight" sleep.

I could use lots of prayers ladies

I think the whole process took about an hour from the time I was brought in for prepping to the time I was woken up. When I woke up I was pretty crampy.

I wasnt allowed to eat or drink anything after midnight. I wasnt allowed to wear any makeup, not even mascara. No deodorant or any lotions or perfume.

Other than that, just stay relaxed. Its an exciting time!!! Good luck!

I was in the OR for about 20 minutes. I was nervous before but it really was nothing.

From arriving to the office, until I left was probably like an hour and a half, maybe a little more. I never understood, why they say "twilight", because I was completely out. You will do great, praying for many, many beautiful robust eggies!!!

First of all I would like to wish you the best of luck with your retrieval. Lots of :babydust!

As far as my retrieval I remember it felt like it was taking forever just waiting for the anesthesia. I was given profofol(the drug MJ was addicted to) and it knocked me out. I would say the entire procedure must have only taken 20 minutes (from the time I fell asleep and woke up).
