I love the side table, but as a BTDT mom, baby proofing that table looks difficult as there are so many edges. Just some food for thought....

Another idea for you is to get fabric, wrap some card board and make custom inserts for the book case. It would give you some pattern/color in the book case.

Thanks LSP! DH already nixed the table for the same reason! It never even crossed my mind!!! LOL, our poor baby.

Replacing it with the Pier 1 Hayworth table.
