Re: tomorrowland terrace fireworks dessert party?
YAY!
YAY! for sure!
The desserts are delicious, the view is great (the only thing is that you can't really see MSEP from that location), and Tink flies right over your head!!!
It's awesome. Pretty much everyone I'm working with is doing it!
It's a little tough to book since they release the dates in blocks 30-60 days before so I just keep calling to find out the dates that have been released. Are you working with a TA?

It is super popular and something we try to do ourselves a couple of times a year. Our clients love it!
Like Jennifer said, booking it is tricky and you need to really be on top of it to get reservations. We check for our clients several times a day!

How long is the msep? Is it possible to watch the parade from elsewhere and then get over to the terrace? Or not enough time?

MSEP is maybe 20 minutes long. It depends on when you are going. For example for most of this week, MSEP is running twice, so you could theoretically leave the dessert party and then try to get a spot for the 2nd show. In a month like January, there will be one showing, and it might not be shown every night.
You COULD see MSEP (which is normally 1 hour before Wishes) and run up to the party, but I wouldn't since you're going to be going against some crowds and then you'll miss a lot of your time to enjoy gorging on desserts. I recommend spending 2 nights at MK and trying to see MSEP on a different night so you can relax and enjoy the desserts. On your other night at MK, you can either watch Wishes again, or while Wishes is on, you can try to get on some rides with low crowds, or beat the mass exodus that occurs after fireworks.
