Hotel in AC...
Whats the best and why? BF and I are planning a weekend get away and I would prefer to stay on boardwalk if possible.
What did you like?

Borgata is the nicest but not on the boardwalk. I've never stayed there but Tropicana, IMO, is the nicest and cleanest on the boardwalk.
They are opening up a brand new hotel/casino down by Showboat. Revel I think it's called.

I have stayed at Ceasars and Tropicana. Both are nice, Ceasars is nicer, Tropicana is cheaper.
I usually stay at Tropicana cause they comp me nights.

my family Always stays at the Tropicana. Its A fun atmosphare and the rooms are clean.
We stayed at Borgata for my Bachlorette party but A. its not on the boardwalk B. drinks are a tad bit more expensive there.

Not on the Boardwalk, but I LOVE Borgata, especially Water Club. it's really upscale, adults only, and the NICEST most relaxing pool area.
Be sure to have brunch at Sun Room as well if you go there

My friend just started working at Revel which is opening April 2. It's on the boardwalk and brand new! I liked Tropicana also - good restaurants and fun bars.

Caesars is nice and right in the middle of the boardwalk. If you like to go out they have Dusk Night Club and they also have a ton of restaurants and shops in the Pier which is attached. There are some casual bars too.
Trop is another good option with tons of nightlife, shoping and restaurants near bye.
The outlets are close to both of those.

shocked no one has mentioned harrahs. best of all worlds in my opinion....and has the most awesome domed pool area.

we really like The Chelsea hotel. its rigtht on the boardwalk so its close to everything. BUT its kind of near the end and doesn't have a casino in it... so its nice and quiet, too.
very cool modern/retro "vibe"... just a nice place to stay  we got a good deal from hotels.comCHELSEA
