Where can we go that is warm but wont be bombarded with spring breakers?
I am looking for some suggestions. My husband and I might have the opportunity to go away for a long weekend in the next two weeks. It looks like he will be starting a new job so we want to go for a quick get away before he does. We were thinking of the Bahamas but I was just reading that is a big spring break place. Any suggestions where we could go that is warm, and can sit on the beach in peace??

Re: Where can we go that is warm but wont be bombarded with spring breakers?
I haven't checked availability in awhile since we changed our plan and decided to go on Disney Cruise instead, but have you thought about one of the Disney beach resorts? Hilton Head or Vero Beach?
We were thinking of heading down this spring, probably to Vero, but as i mentioned, plans changed.
Those places attract a lot of couples and families. I don't think you will see too many HS and college kids on drinking binges. I think HHI in general is probably good, esp if you stay at a resort vs. a hotel.
ETA: Our cruise is a 5 night bahamian cruise. You can actually sometimes get a GREAT deal on a space available rate booking last minute. We're stopping at Castaway Cay twice (!!!) and nassau once. Castaway Cay is Disney-owned, so I think it will also be more families and not spring breakers. On Nassau we might stay on and enjoy he ship, but you can also take excursions to Atlantis to enjoy their waterpark.
