Would you call the doctor?
I am just starting my 3rd trimester. For the past few days, I have been having really bad lower abdominal pain, which has been getting progressively worse as the day goes on (always worse at night). Last night, the pains got so bad, I had trouble standing up and walking! However, I am feeling a little better this morning. I think it is my bladder, but is this normal?? I don't want to call up and feel stupid if this is something everyone goes through.

Re: Would you call the doctor?
I'm only in week 21, so I don't know what you should expect in your 3rd trimester. However, I don't think any question is stupid to ask your doctor. I would call and ask, even if they tell you not to worry, at least you will have peace of mind.

It's only a phone call. I would call and let the Dr. decide.

Re: Would you call the doctor?
I'm sure everything is OK, but call to ease your mind. I cannot tell you how many times I called with my DD, and I went to the labor and delivery room 2x in the middle of the night when everything was OK, and both times the nurses told me I did the right thing - better safe than sorry.

Even if you're sent to L&D, you will NOT be mad to feel silly... it's better to be safe than sorry.

Re: Would you call the doctor?
The office opens at 9, so I am going to call in a few minutes. I am honestly just nervous about making a huge deal over a bladder infection, or the baby just sitting in a bad spot.
Ahhh. Thank you girls

Re: Would you call the doctor?
Is it like an achy feeling? Ive been getting a lot of aches and my midwife said thats normal since my body has to accomadate this growing baby. But if you feel worried then call, its just a phone call.
