I highly recommend Steve. He is as knowledgeable -- and honest! -- as they come. He really knows the ins and outs of all of the ever-changing mortgage landscape, and he has come through for me and my customers time and time again. He also is very accessible to his customers - he explains everything in detail and makes himself available to answer questions. Steve goes above and beyond.
FYI - U.S. Mortgage Corp. is a direct lender -- they are a mortgage bank not a commercial bank, so they only do mortgages. But they are very fast -- they consistently close loans within 30 days whereas other banks take on average 60-90 (and that's being generous). And Steve has been able to close deals for me within 2 weeks when necessary.
Also, at U.S. Mortgage Corp, they give the loan application to an underwriter FIRST, so if there's an issue, it can be addressed sooner rather than later. Most other lenders have it sit with a processor for weeks or months and then a buyer can find out at the 11th hour, when an underwriter finally sees it, that there's a problem with the loan.

100% agree. Steve was excellent. We were with a previous lender and it was a disaster. Steve took over and everything was completed in 2wks.
