We're HOME!!
Thanks for all the well wishes and such, both here and on FB! My baby boy was born on Friday night, via a repeat c/s (my last c/s was almost 8 years ago and I had a vbac in between). I took the whole 4 nights in the hospital, even though I was cleared to leave after 3 nights. The decision was made to have him at 37 weeks 2 days after my BP continued to rise, even on the meds and my creatine and uric acid levels increased, as did the protein in my urine. He weighed in at a healthy 7 lbs 12 oz. No NICU and he is doing beautifully.
I will come back soon to write a review of the repeat c/s as well as my stay at Winthrop, in case anyone is giving birth there soon. Newborn pictures will be taken soon too by Lori from AvaJack Photography and I will share when I get them as well.
