Any feedback for New Orleans?
Thinking of taking a trip there at the end of March or begining of April. Anyone have any feedback? Where to stay? What to do?

Re: Any feedback for New Orleans?
Love NOLA. The are so many great restaurants, and I love to eat. We usually stay at a B&B in Garden District because we really love the place. Plus, it is close to Magazine Street which has a lot of really great restaruants. It is about a 20 minute trolley ride to the Quarter. There are a lot of day trips you can do like Plantation Tours/Swamp Tours.

Re: Any feedback for New Orleans?
I love New Orleans! I always stay in the Sheraton on Canal Street. It is walking distance to Bourbon Street as well as the river and all other shopping and bars.
Great things to do:
Mardi Gras world which is across the river but is where they make all the floats for the parade. It is so cool.
A ghost tour which you should book before you go
Patty o'briens for a hurricane!
Cafe Du monde
Trolley ride into the garden district
Have a great time! New Orleans is one of my favorite places to go!!!

Went with girlfriends had a blast.
Bff went to an 'angel reader'. Spooky!!!
Beautiful city to just wander through, look at old homes, quaint shops, and eat your face off.
Once went to Emeril's restaurant. Great dining; not close to bourbon st.

His restaurant NOLA is in the Frecnh quarter though & very good. I have been for work, so not too much free tim in the day to explor, but there is great food & always something to do.

Re: Any feedback for New Orleans?
Amazing!!!! Greatest food ever - you must go to Acme Oyster House (prepare to wait in line for a VERY long time but worth it) and get chargrilled oysters. Drink in the streets on Bourbon. Go to hustler club (yes, you read that right ) with your man for a good time. There are lots of women there.
We've been twice and plan to make it an annual new year's thing. The first time we stayed at Loews which was great; about a 15 minute walk from Bourbon. The second time we stayed at the Omni Royal Crescent, which is about a 7 minute walk. It was fine, just not up to par with what I'd call a luxury hotel.
We are thinking Royal Sonesta on Bourbon this year :)
