If you've had a breech baby that's flipped, have you FELT when the baby flipped into the right position?

Re: spinoff...breech baby...btdt mamas

My baby flipped at around 33 or 34 weeks, however many weeks I was at the superbowl, lol.

I was on my feet ALL day and at the end of the day I just had SO MUCH pressure down below.

I can't say that I felt the actual flip happening. I did feel movement but nothing different from what I was used to feeling. But I did feel the change in how much pressure I had all the time after that and people did tell me that my belly looked lower after that.

I had an appointment on the tuesday after superbowl and the doctor told me that the baby was head-down at that point!

My DD flipped late but I never felt her flip. My dr. did suggest sleeping on my right side to help her along. She may have done it while I was sleeping Chat Icon

I saw that suggestion on the spinningbabies website but wasn't sure if it was a typo or not. So sleeping on your right side helps huh? Hmm...might try that!

i had the opposite. my "in position" baby flipped breech. but i delivered at 33w so its pretty normal for them to swim around at that time. anyway i did feel her flip although at the time i didnt know thats what was happening because i wasn't looking for it. i literally felt a TON of movement and then had to deliver and they did a sono and there she was breech!! Re: spinoff...breech baby...btdt mamas

my baby was breech until 2 1/2 weeks before I was due and he got into position a couple of weeks before my due date (I have a heart shaped uterus ~ less room for baby to move around) it was very painful for me, went to the doctor that week he was in position ~ two days later my ds flipped back to breech (very painful again) he did both of these moves in the middle of the night. My ds stayed breech and I landed up having a c-section.

Re: spinoff...breech baby...btdt mamas

DS was breech at 36 weeks and flipped between then and 37 weeks. I swear I felt it the night it happened. It was a little more movement and a lot of pressure on both sides of my belly.

This baby was transverse and she flipped down, but I have no idea when she did it.

DD flipped at 38 weeks and I did not feel it at all. I did have some back pain that could have been somewhat related but I never felt her actually flip. She was tiny (6lbs two weeks later) though so maybe that's why.

My DD flipped around 35-36 weeks and I didn't have any idea until the doctor told me. She was born at 7.5lbs so she wasn't a tiny baby either.

DD was breech from 20 weeks on. I was so freaked out about it especially since I have delivered my DS vaginally a year and a half earlier. I was sick with fear over the thought of a C section and the recovery with a 20 month old and a newborn at home. I went in for a version with my OB at 37 weeks and it hurt like hell and did not work. We scheduled a C section then and there. I did accupunctire a few days later and moxibustion therapy and DD flipped. As I previously stated I had no clue until I went in for a sono. If you want my acupuncturist info let me know she is an absolute miracle worker!!! Good luck!!!

Chillax Chat Icon Lots of time left. They are still so small that they can easily change position and you may not feel anything at all that's different than his regular movements.

DS was head down at EVERY SINGLE sono I had. An hour before my c/s they checked him to estimate weight and he was head down. When they took him out, he was breech and came out butt first! The doctor was a little taken aback lol.

I think the further along you are, the more chance that you might feel something because they are bigger and have less room to move around. In the meantime, sleep on the right side, play that music down low, and get on all fours during the day lol.

Re: spinoff...breech baby...btdt mamas

DS was breech for weeks! I had a midwife appointment on Friday (still breech) and a scheduled C at 39 weeks that Monday. I went nuts cleaning all weekend and was climbing up on top of the countertops to clean every crack and crevice. I know for sure that I felt DS flip because I made a comment that night to DH about how much pressure I felt with him moving. I just figured it was because he was so big at that point. Went in Monday, got hooked up to the IV and during a quick sono right beforehand they saw that the little sucker had turned so I was sent home to wait it out.

My DD was breach on my last md appt before I gave birth, so I was worried I would need a C-section, but when I actually went into labor a few days later, she was flipped! I never felt a thing!

yup
DS was breech until about 32 weeks, and i have no idea when he flipped since i didn't feel it (or if i did, i didn't distinguish it from other movement).
My dr said they can turn on their own pretty much up until they're born, so not to stress about it too much Chat Icon
