stainless steel sink got scratched! grrr
any tips....its a deep nice sink and i think when dh and his friends painted a room and left the paint brushes in the sink for hours...someone scrubbed the sink out. now about a 4 inch section is scratched and not shiny.
i tried my regular sink cleaner and nada. advice? tia!

Is it brand new? After time it does get a patina. What about that Bar Keepers stuff?

After a while, you'll get scratches like a matte finish but that stuff really helps! Nice job

Same thing just happened to me - brand new Elkay undermount sink!  I orderded the grid that goes with it...it was pricey which is why I didn't get it to begin with, but now I see why it was important. At least once it's in I can avoid future scratches and not really see the one that's there.
