Has anybody ever gotten their roof powerwashed?
We just moved into our house and the inspector said our roof has about 10 more years until it needs to be replaced. However, it is so dirty looking and I am looking into getting it powerwashed. Any thoughts, experiences and/or recommendations would be appreciated!

We were considering it. We had a roofer come by and he advised against it. He said the pressure could be to strong and lift the shingles and cause more damage.

Do you have asphalt shingles on your shed?
I'd be concerned about the pressure either pulling shingles up, water getting under the shingles, or blasting the protective granules off the surface.
If you have it done, make sure you get someone who's done it many times before. Don't just get a handyman who owns a pressure washer.

I was checking out a powerwashing company who uses some sort of low pressure way to get it done.LINK
