Bebe au Lait nursing cover vs. Hooter Hider
My friend recommended the Hooter Hider, by Bebe au Lait, to me. I was looking online and saw that Bebe au Lait also makes a nursing cover that seems very similar. Looking at the features on their website, they list almost the same things. Can anyone tell me what the difference is? Is there a reason to get one over the other? TIA!

Found the answer:
Q. What is the difference between Hooter Hiders and Bebe au Lait nursing covers?
A. Hooter Hiders boast the same flexible rigid neckline found in all of our patented nursing covers and is available in two styles: Ruffle and Pocket. The Ruffle style has a feminine ruffle detail along the neckline and bottom of the cover. The Pocket style has an external pocket with a small ruffle detail at the top of the pocket. Both styles have the Hooter Hiders label on the neck strap and come packaged in a small matching pouch.
Our Bebe au Lait Nursing Covers feature our classic design: no pocket or ruffle on the outside, however there are two lined terry cloth pockets on the underside for holding small items and cleaning up small messes. (Our Hooter Hiders do not have this terry pocket feature.) The small label on the neck strap says Bebe au Lait. Other than these differences, the size, d-ring neck strap closure, and flexible rigid neckline are the same for both brands.

Honestly, I used a cheapie one from Target (I think Munchkin brand) and it worked just fine for nursing in public.

Re: Bebe au Lait nursing cover vs. Hooter Hider
I didn't like the Bebe au Lait nursing cover. It wasn't wide enough, like when DS would wiggle when nursing one of the sides would pop open exposing me. It was short too. My last cover purchase was the Balboa Baby one and it's the best. I've had four lol and they were all failures besides the Balboa Baby.

Re: Bebe au Lait nursing cover vs. Hooter Hider
I only have a hooter hider & didn't love it. I NEVER used it in public because I didn't feel like I was fully covered. DD used to squirm her legs or arms right out of the sides, exposing me! It worked just fine at home when I had guests, but i would never try using one in a restaurant or on a bench at the park. That's just me though. I am super crazy about my hooters being hid from strangers

I have a Hooter Hider and an Udder Cover. The Hooter Hider is definitely nicer and bigger. I used it everywhere. Outside, at restaurants, family's home, my home etc.
The udder cover was fine but I used it as my backup.
