Re: Xpost from parenting: Motorola baby monitor
I looked at it recently at BBB and didn't care for it. I loved the features and it had great reviews which is why it was my first choice. When we were trying it out I was turned off. It might sound silly but the menu was a pita to navigate and it felt kind of clunky!! We went with the Summer Infant instead.

Re: Xpost from parenting: Motorola baby monitor
I just got it last week! I had the Summer infant best view which we were happy with but since baby 2 is coming I needed another monitor and I got a great deal on it.
The screen is a really nice size. The handheld is thinner than my summer one. Much bigger screen.
Plus the extras are awesome: you can talk to the baby from the handheld! You can play music on the camera too. If you have cameras it will scan both.
So far, so good. We're happy with it!

Where did you wind up getting it from? Yea we were happy with the best view until it started not to take a charge as well and then discontinued! But I thought this one looked cool. We are def getting 2 cameras....when it scans from camera to camera do you get the sound change with each scan? Or can you keep say the newborns room sound on all the time and switch monitors?

eta: the larger screen is worth the extra money if you can swing it!
