Beaches

For those that have been to Beaches in Turks and Caicos and to Beaches in Negril Jamaica are the prices about the same or is Jamaica less expensive?

Is Beaches in Jamaica as nice as Turks and Caicos?

Trying to plan a vacation for me and my son who will be 12 for the end of August.

Any info bad or good will be helpful.

TIA

Re: Beaches

I believe Beaches T&C is more expensive than Jamaica. Or maybe it was just the total package (w/airfare). needless to say; DH & I went 4 years ago for a friends wedding. Stayed 4 night and paid about $2,500 in total. This was before they built the new French village and the slides etc. We did have an amazing time though. Really good food. Beautiful beach. We would definitely go back down the line when we have kids.

Re: Beaches

T&C is more expensive than Jamaica and T&C is a lot better, more restaurants, bigger resort, etc. Saying that, the first Beaches we visited was Negril and we loved it there, but the next year we went to T&C and found it so much better.
